龹 depicts the action of two hands kneading and rolling cooked rice into a ball, its original meaning was kneaded rice ball, and it also referred to rolling or curling. The meaning of 龹 was later replaced by 卷. Today, 龹 is no longer used independently and only appears as a component in other characters.
