覺 is composed of 𦥑 (two hands), 爻 (lines on a trigram) ,the variant of 六 (six) and 見 (see). The upper part of 覺 depicts two hands demonstrating the calculation of counting rods on a mound, while 見 is the picture of a man with a wide open eye, he watch, aware and understand.
