耘
remove weed
耘 is composed of 耒(plough) and 云(say). 耒 depicts a plow used for turning over soil, conveying the idea of farming work, while 云 is the pictograph of swirling cloud vapors and conveys the idea of rotation or repetition. Weeds in the fields grow continuously and must be removed over and over again so as not to hinder the growth of crops; thus 耘 means to remove weeds.
