The story of 箱
box
箱 is composed of the Bushou of 竹 (bamboo) and 相 (mutually, each other). 相 depicts an eye looking at a tree, a tree is big, which can only be contained visually, thus extends to the meaning of containing. In ancient China, bamboo was a common material for making container, so 箱 is used to represent box.
